A little bird has been telling me that there is some frantic activity going on the sets of much anticipated show, 24. It seems that the creators of the show are putting last pieces of the jigsaw called 24 together. They are hard at work because this season is likely to be the last season of the show.

The premier date of the pilot of next season is already fixed as January 17, 2010. Season 8 of 24 TV Show will premier with its customary two episode pilot. The next two episodes will be aired on 18th January and then show will take up its weekly routine.

The season 8 of 24 will open up with Jack trying to accomplish the impossible which is lead a normal life while living in New York along with Kim and her daughter. Victor portrayed by Benito Martinez, an old contact drops by to caution Jack against the looming elimination of a Middle Eastern diplomat on a visit. Hearing this is enough to make Jack to come out of ennui of inaction (I suspect he was waiting for something like that to come up) and join the roller-coaster action for which 24 is so well know.

This season is going to feature a grouchy Chloe returning from maternity leave. Locking horns with her will be a hotshot computer chick portrayed by Katee Sackhoff.

Cherry Jones will return as President Allison Taylor along with Diamantopoulos as her new chief of staff- Rob Weiss. Just to give a wild twist to the show, we have Meredith Reed thrown into the helm of affairs as an ambitious journalist.

Keifer Sutherland will also be a part of this season and I have crossed my fingers hoping that he leaves his daughter behind this time round though…

We have known and loved Kiefer Sutherland, as “Jack Bauer” on our favorite detective tv show ‘24′. The actor, who has knack for being in controversies, is in the news again. And this time, it is due to a fight that he supposedly had at a public place. To learn more, go through the following write up!

Kiefer surrendered in front of the New York Police, on 7 May, for hitting the fashion designer Jack McCollough, with his head. As a result the fashion designer received an injury to his nose. The incident took place at Mercer Hotel in SoHo, after a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Reportedly, Sutherland was enraged with McCollough, as the latter stepped between him and model/actress Brook Shields, while they were chatting at the hotel bar. After Sutherland commented about the strange behavior of the fashion designer, he went ahead and broke his nose.

This is not the first time that Sutherland has been arrested. Nearly two years ago, on 25 September 2007, he was arrested for misdemeanor drunk driving charges. He had been arrested before that also, in another incidence in 2004, when he had to undergo a field Sobriety test.

He had failed the test, as it exceeded the legal blood alcohol limit, permitted by the state. He was later released on bail of $25,000. However, he had to spend 48 days in the jail, as he pleaded no contest to the charges leveled against him by DUI.

It is hard to say, what would be the consequences of his present acts, but it is being speculated that he might face misdemeanor charges once again. We can just pray that he gets out without having to face much serious consequences, for his actions.

24, the two hour Prequel movie about season 7 has been shown partially at comic con recently. It is coming in November and the seventh season will hit the screens in January 2009. As per the buddy TV reports, six to seven minute long footage was shown at comic con revealing what you should expect from this upcoming TV movie.

Thank God it’s coming back, as some previous rumors were saying, that it will not come back. Also news were here about season 7 delay, showing that due to writer’s strike the seventh season has been delayed until one year.

Here are many wonderful things about the upcoming season, as Tony who had died in the arms of Bauer will be again alive in the seventh season; Jack will be found in the streets of Africa; we will see him battling with young kids, as his mission is to prevent them from becoming child soldiers. So, this is the main storyline of the seventh season.

Well, the co-operation and understanding of Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) and Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is amazing. They look cool together and they had to be together throughout the series. Tony is a kina guy who adds some fun to the situations when he is with serious kind of guy, Jack. Jack is always intensely indulged into his work and doesn’t think it right to enjoy a bit while on work. What you call him loyal or boring, no matter … its just a point of view, and he’s the life factor of the series.

On the other hand, I equally like Tony’s character, and was very much frustrated when he was died in the last season. My grudge was about why they guys kick out the best entertainers from the show in the middle, and why they don’t care what fans do want??

Not only us, even the actors did doubt upon the re-entry of Tony that how will he become alive again. They didn’t tell anything about this in comic con but yes Keifer did say that the writers explained the situation to them and they are happy that Tony’s back. The season will take long yet so I’ll prefer to watch the previous episodes till then, instead of confusing myself.

So at last after the years long rumor game, now we can surely say that 24 season seven is coming. What’s up after four years and six seasons. Be cool because something is always better than nothing. Now in season seven, Chloe’s baby will be three to four year old instead of being a new born. Also, the new president won’t be as new as previously thought. Perhaps, she will have an important part to play in season 7’s plot. Watch your Jack again pushing the troubles away.

Now we are expecting the future story from the season seven and I think it must be 2014. Jack must have turned old behind our eyes. First time when Jack Bauer appeared he was 35 and now he will be 47 to 48 years old. Means he will equal the age of Kiefer Sutherland’s age in the season one. The season seven is going to premier in January of 2009 and in addition the Prequel, set and shot primarily in South Africa, will be aired on November 23.

I am personally among the one who are very eagerly waiting for the new season. Though I missed many of its episodes partially, but still as much as I watched, I loved it and it is still safe in my memory.

Do you like 24? Well, many people do and me too watched the series regularly when it was on air. Currently, the series is on hiatus and filming of season seven is going on, I am trying to kill my time in watching the previous seasons and downloading the most loved episodes from this site.

Just because of the writer’s strike, the upcoming season has got delayed until January 2009, and fans are desperately waiting for the two hour long prequel in the month of November this year. That will be wonderful Sunday and I will have no plans of going out on that day, because I can’t miss it after this much long wait.

You know today before watching this show here, I went for TV news on buddy.com and got something very interesting to share with you buddies. Our mastermind of computer technology, Miss Chloe is going to give birth to a child in her real life. Apparently, its’ a  happy news for her, but not satisfactory for her fans. She’ll appear in just a few episodes of 24’s seventh season and will say bye to series after that. Her departure may not be good for series but someone is here who can definitely replace her. After all the CTU requires another her kind of master mind who will hack into building’s security systems and will save the lives of CTU people while fighting against terror.

When this show was first aired in November 2001,  I was not aware about it and I didn’t watch its pilot episode also. Now I’ve watched it for many times from this site. How do I come to know about 24, actually I was told by my school friend that some show based upon terrorism has started and she also told me about the plot. Finally, it made me curious to watch the show and I liked it to the extent that after that I am watching it regularly.

The subject of counter-terrorism was enough to hook me up with the show. Moreover, the show carried episodes based upon fictional as well as the real events. Me and my friend often, download 24 episodes from here and discuss for hours about the stuff.

Fans of 24 will have to wait until Jan 2009 as season 7 is scheduled to premiere next year.
