Yeah, Kiefer Sutherland’s, the 24 TV show star, did not appear in the New York Court on July 17, 2009 as the date had been postponed.

As per the confirmed news, Kiefer, the 42 year old actor, was scheduled to appear before a judge on the above said date. The hearing was held to answer assault charges put against the man because of his altercation with fashion designer, Jack McCollough in May. But it didn’t happen and district attorney’s office spokesperson said the hearing was cancelled. The spokesperson also made it clear that no new date has been set yet.

The accident which led Kiefer to court took place on May 4 when he allegedly head-butt Jack at New York nightspot, SubMercer. Jack also blamed him for breaking his nose. Kiefer, realizing what he has done, apologized to Jack McCollough saying “I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured”.

After this, the next statement came from Jack’s side and he replied “I appreciate Mr. Sutherland’s statement and wish him well”. Soon, the two actors resolved their issues and released a joint statement saying that all the differences have been resolved. Hopefully, the next hearing would bring the case to an end!
